About St. Luke’s

St. Luke’s School was founded in 1959 as an outreach of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. We have proudly served the community by providing quality preschool, kindergarten and elementary education.

The St. Luke’s School education program is grounded in tradition, yet it remains flexible and adaptive to individual needs. The School helps each student develop the ability to understand, to analyze, to question, to think creatively and critically, and to communicate effectively both orally and through the written word. The curriculum is constantly updated to meet the demands of our changing world and to meet and surpass the standards set by the state’s educational entity, the Texas Education Agency.

It is our goal to enhance each student’s spiritual and intellectual growth. Inherent in the educational process is the obligation to promote the development of positive attitudes and habits to build sound, sensitive and healthy individuals who will be productive citizens in the community.

Enrollment applications are available throughout the school year and may be picked up in the school office or downloaded here. A non-refundable enrollment fee that will ensure your child’s standing in our school must accompany all applications. Consideration for enrollment begins in March of the preceding school year.

The school year calendar for St. Luke’s School follows the Denison I.S.D. calendar. Tuition fees vary, considering age and grade of the student. Lunches should be brought daily for all children staying for the lunch period. Rest time is provided for children PreK 3 through Kindergarten.

St. Luke’s entire campus is fenced, gated and closely monitored during the school day. Each classroom is equipped with a computer center where children experience learning through the latest computer software.
